On-Campus Adult Packages
USD Hospitality Services offers two types of housing and dining packages for our adult summer conference guests:
Alcala Apartment Package
Package includes housing in one of our apartment buildings and customized dining packages:
Standard Amenities:
- Apartment with one to four bedrooms and one to two baths
- Housekeeping service
- Lounge areas for small group gatherings
- Bed and bath linens
- Nearby conference front desk, open daily 8:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- Service staff on-call 24/7
- Free shuttle service throughout campus
Optional Amenities:
- Clock radios, desk lamps, fans, ironing board, hair dryer
- Fitness centers and Olympic-size pool
- Laundry facilities on site
- Computer/Internet activation for a fee
- Dry cleaning, laundry fluff and fold
- Concierge Services: transportation services, tours, day trips, care packages, pizza delivery from on-campus dining location, reservations for campus restaurant (La Gran Terraza, Hahn University Center)
- On campus grocery store (Tu Mercado, Student Life Pavilion)
- Vending machines
- On-site parking
Missions Package

On-Campus Youth Packages
USD Hospitality Services offers housing packages to meet the needs of youth conference participants. Each package rate includes accommodations, and customized meal plans.
USD's housing facilities can accommodate youth and counselors in our residences and dining halls. Housing options include traditional residential halls and suites. Traditional residential halls have single or shared occupancy accommodations with community bathrooms. Triples and quads are available in some residences.
Youth residential areas, in accordance with University Alcohol Policies, are designated as no alcohol living areas.
The following amenities apply to all of our accommodations:
- Basic furnishings include: twin bed, dresser, desk and chair
- Lounge areas
- Nearby conference front desk, open daily 8:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- Service staff on-call 24/7
- Coin-less laundry facilities
- Vending machines
Optional Amenities:
- Dry cleaning, laundry fluff and fold
- Pizza delivery from on-campus dining location
- Computer/Internet activation and WiFi
Torero Standard Package
Youth participants are assigned to a residence and dining facility. Linen service includes a bedspread, sheets, blanket, pillow and pillowcase, two towels, one washcloth and a bar of soap. For long-term groups, bed linens are changed every seven days. Towels are exchanged Monday, Wednesday and Friday (depending on check-in day). Common areas and community bathrooms are cleaned daily, Monday through Friday. Weekend service can be provided for an additional fee.
Torero Economy Package
Youth participants are assigned to a residence and dining location. Participants must provide their own bed linens, pillows, blankets and towels. Common areas and community bathrooms are cleaned daily, Monday through Friday. Weekend service is not provided.
Youth Conference Policies:
Single room occupancy is intended primarily for adult supervisors/counselors.
USD policy requires one adult supervisor/counselor in each residence for every 10 housed youth participants.
Note:
All conference facilities are non-smoking.
Although campus residences are not air-conditioned, USD enjoys a year-round mild climate.
